 Austin entered the world Friday February 12,1999 at 1:38 am at Clarkson Memorial Hospital in Omaha.Ne

Austin was a healthy baby as far as we knew. We lived in Ne until 2001 Austin was 2yrs old and we moved back to our hometown of Louisville,Ky

Austin was diagnosed with IV neuroblastoma on 10-22-02 and at that time started chemotherapy. Followed by much more therapys that included surgery,biological therapys etc.

In June of 2003 Austin was admitted into the hospital for a stem cell transplant where he stayed for two and a half months. After returning home from that he got blood transfusions very frequently over the next year. He also was included in more biological therapy studies.

In the later part of 2005 Austin relapsed and again started on chemotherapy that was followed by radiation. Austin was never in remission but at times the cancer was very slow growing.

During the 2005 year Austin was taking a drug called fenretinide. He was doing ok for a little while then in 2006 he relapsed again with the cancer spreading to his liver. In May of 2006 Austin was really feeling bad and just not doing well. Over the next several months he got worse and worse.

Saturday June 10,2006 Austin passed away at his home surronded by his immediate family.  With mommy and daddy holding him he took his final breath.
